Remote Senior Engineer, SRE

Description:

• Build and operate the infrastructure for Zencoder’s AI-powered products.
• Improve reliability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency across production platforms including Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and data systems.

Requirements:

• Strong software engineering skills with experience writing production code.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production and cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS).
• Understanding of cloud networking and security concepts (VPCs, IAM, load balancing, etc.).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment systems.
• Ability to debug across application, infrastructure, networking, and data systems.
• Experience with distributed systems like OpenSearch or PostgreSQL at scale.
• Ownership of problems and comfort working across team boundaries.
