Description:

  • Forward-deployed engineering role working closely with users and program engineers in DoD environments.
  • Responsible for deploying, hardening, integrating, and operating data stacks in mission-critical settings.
  • Engage in both well-defined data problems and complex, ambiguous data landscapes.
  • Primarily remote work with occasional travel for site engagements.
  • Mentor junior Data Engineers and contribute to team development.

Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
  • Experience with unstructured data at scale, streaming and integration, data warehousing, and data pipelines.
  • Proficient in SQL and comfortable with open-source tools.
  • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in unstructured environments and mentor junior engineers.
