Description:

McFadyen Digital is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer who is innovative, self-directed, and passionate about technology and problem-solving.
The role involves working with technologies such as NodeJS, Java API, GIT, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript throughout all phases of a project's lifecycle from analysis to development.
The developer will integrate and customize marketplace and eCommerce products for clients, translating business needs into effective technical solutions.
This position allows for 100% remote work.
Key responsibilities include solving critical front-end and back-end issues, translating web designs into digital experiences, coding, and transferring knowledge to other programmers.
Additional responsibilities include excellent communication, collaboration with distributed teams, self-starting, agile development experience, and using tools like Jira, Git, and AWS.
The developer will write server-side code, manage databases, build APIs, contribute to software architecture, and work with other team members to deliver projects.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 8 years of Full Stack Development experience.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, PHP, and AWS is required.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, and Node is necessary.
Experience with DevOps/CI/CD tools, front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks), and back-end technologies (server-side languages, databases, APIs) is essential.
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (Vue, React, Angular, Node), HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, and MongoDB is expected.
Experience with GraphQL, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and on-demand external APIs is preferred.
A good understanding of SEO best practices, UI, and cross-browser compatibility is important.
Experience in e-commerce development (Magento, Shopify, Oracle Commerce Cloud) is a plus.
Familiarity with Unix systems, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, and building RESTful APIs is desirable.
Excellent technical problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills, and advanced English proficiency are required.
