The Software Engineer (Agile) is responsible for the continuous development and enhancement of the internal Telekom application VIS-Tool (Vertragsbestands-Informations-System).
The role focuses on modular expansion and automation of order request processes within the CVS/CPS environment, replacing manual Excel-based workflows with a modern, web-server-based architecture to enable faster, more efficient, and error-free contract and product processing.
The VIS-Tool is a business-critical internal application supporting multiple Telekom business units in managing framework contracts and product orders.
The development team works in an agile, cross-functional setup, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, system interfaces, and internal microservices to deliver reliable and scalable process automation solutions.
Responsibilities include continuously developing and enhancing the VIS-Tool application, designing and implementing modular extensions, replacing manual workflows with scalable solutions, implementing functional changes, developing backend and frontend components using Java, JavaScript, and SQL with Oracle databases, and integrating VIS-Tool with internal microservices.
The role also involves providing technical consulting to business stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing to technical documentation, and supporting the stability and continuous improvement of the application.
Requirements:
Candidates must have strong software engineering experience in enterprise application environments.
Hands-on development experience with Java, JavaScript, and SQL / Oracle DB is required at an advanced level.
Experience working in agile development environments is essential.
A solid understanding of business process automation and software modularization is necessary.
Candidates should have the ability to analyze, design, and implement solutions within existing architectures.
Comfort in implementing small to medium functional changes across multiple modules is expected.
A structured, solution-oriented, and analytical working style is important.
Clear communication with both technical and business stakeholders is required.
Enjoyment of working in cross-functional teams and collaborative environments is essential.
Possible specialization includes experience with telecom systems, project management methods, workflow-driven applications, and business-facing consulting or advisory experience.

The final salary is negotiable, with a base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience, starting at no lower than 3100€ /brutto.
