Description:

  • Seeking an experienced Senior MS SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) IT Division Tolling group.
  • Focus on SQL Server database administration, cloud technologies, performance optimization, high availability, and operational support.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience managing and administering Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  • 1+ year of experience with SQL Server performance tuning, Transact-SQL (T-SQL), and cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Must reside in the U.S. and complete a fingerprint-based background check.

Benefits:
