Description:

  • RESPEC seeks a Senior Database Developer for a statewide education data project with the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
  • Responsibilities include architecting, optimizing, and maintaining complex database pipelines for over 1,200 public school districts, focusing on Oracle environments and Agile development.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of enterprise database experience, with deep expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, performance tuning, and managing solutions in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • 4+ years of experience with JSON data handling, including storing, parsing, and optimizing JSON payloads in Oracle.
  • Preferred: 5+ years using Jira and Bitbucket/Git, 2+ years with Nomad workload orchestration, and familiarity with JasperReports or ETL tools.
