Remote Staff Database Engineer

Description:

• Multi Media LLC seeks a Staff Database Engineer to manage the reliability and performance of Chaturbate's large PostgreSQL environment.
• The role involves preventing database incidents, improving high availability, and ensuring rapid recovery capabilities in a high-scale production setting.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience with PostgreSQL in large-scale production environments.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL reliability, including replication, failover, and high availability.
• Experience in diagnosing and resolving complex database incidents and executing upgrades and migrations safely.
• Strong Linux knowledge and ability to automate operational tasks through scripting.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with SRE and engineering teams.
