Remote Senior QA Automation Engineer

Description:

• Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to act as a technical lead within QA and test teams.
• The role involves overseeing all aspects of software and product testing and ensuring overall development quality across the company.
• Responsibilities include developing test strategies, preparing test documentation, identifying defects, and reviewing QA reports.
• The Senior QA Automation Engineer will lead the evaluation of test automation tools and technologies, driving the transition from manual to automated testing.
• The position requires building test automation frameworks and supporting QA teams with expert knowledge.
• The engineer will define and update company quality standards to ensure high customer satisfaction and implement test frameworks and architecture.
• The role encompasses the entire QA process across multiple projects, ensuring all released products meet company and industry quality standards.
• The position requires a good understanding of DevOps methodologies and frameworks such as the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• The focus of this role is on automation testing within the Dedicated Connectivity & Infrastructure (DCI) Hub, specifically on regression testing of complex BSS releases.

Requirements:

• A Master’s degree in Information Technologies is required.
• Candidates must have over 5 years of experience in Software Development and hold an ISTQB certification.
• Strong expertise in Test Automation, particularly in BSS regression testing for complex enterprise releases, is essential.
• Proficiency in UFT, Java automation, and modern tools such as Selenium, Selenide, or Playwright is required.
• Candidates should possess deep knowledge of Enterprise Network business processes and B2B connectivity products.
• A strong understanding of Enterprise Network technologies and common IT/NT testing procedures is necessary.
• Experience in Agile environments, particularly with SAFe® and Kanban teams, is required.
• Proficiency in modern tooling such as Jira, Git, SQL, and XML is essential.
• Candidates should have hands-on experience with AI technologies and effective communication skills in English, with German as a plus.
