Remote Senior Security Engineer - Blue Team

Description:

• Lead response to security incidents, including triage, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident review.
• Own and evolve incident response processes, including playbooks and on-call practices.
• Build and tune detections in Datadog Cloud SIEM across AWS, Kubernetes, and Google Workspace.
• Investigate suspicious activities and improve cloud security posture.
• Automate detection and response tasks using Python and Terraform.
• Report on incidents and mentor engineers across squads.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Blue team/Defensive security/Security operations.
• Hands-on experience in leading security incident response.
• Experience with forensics and evidence handling in cloud environments.
• Proficient in building and tuning SIEM detections and alerts.
• Experience securing AWS and Kubernetes, including IAM and SSO.
• Skills in automating security tasks with Python/Bash and managing infrastructure with Terraform.
• Fluent English for daily communication with native speakers.
