Description:

  • Senior IT Security Engineer role focused on leading the information security program at NEAR Foundation.
  • Responsible for designing, hardening, and automating security systems and controls, with a focus on SOC II Type 2 and ISO 27001 readiness.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in information security with strong IT engineering experience, including senior individual contributor roles.
  • Proven experience with SOC II Type 2 and ISO 27001 readiness, IAM, endpoint security, and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
  • Proficient in scripting (Python, Go, or Bash) and automating IT/security workflows.
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to manage risk and process under pressure.
