Description:

Develop and maintain the QAD Redzone API Backend (Scala) for manufacturing front-line teams.
Enhance internal tooling capabilities by developing and maintaining the MCP server for AI integrations.
Improve OpenSearch usage within the backend application and ensure timely delivery of sprint commitments.
Provide expertise during incidents and contribute to system improvements through participation in forums.
Write testable and maintainable code to support business goals.

Requirements:

5+ years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer.
Proficiency in Scala (5+ years) and Java.
Experience with API-first design, Open Api Spec, and generating Tapir endpoints.
Knowledge of async programming, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and database migration patterns.
Familiarity with CI/CD, AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and modularized programming.
