Description:

  • Neon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to act as a technical reference and hands-on contributor in the Acquisitions (Martech) team.
  • The role involves daily collaboration with Marketing/Growth teams to acquire new clients, data, and risk to enhance the platform and acquisition flows (landing → registration → KYC → activation).
  • Responsibilities include designing and operating experimentation infrastructure (feature flags, A/B testing), end-to-end tracking/attribution (UTM, MMP, Signals), and internal tools for the marketing team.
  • The engineer will optimize the performance and reliability of the funnel (Core Web Vitals, latency, SLOs), focusing on privacy and compliance (LGPD/consent).
  • The main objective is to increase conversion rates, reduce CAC/CPA, accelerate the experiment cycle, and decrease drop-offs at critical stages.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background and practical experience in product engineering (backend/web) with a focus on acquisition/growth or experimentation platforms.
  • Proficiency in Golang, .NET (C#), Python, or Node.js/TypeScript for backend development.
  • Experience with React/Next.js for acquisition surfaces (web) and mobile instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with unit and integration testing, GitHub, standard versioning workflows, and CI/CD practices.
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Kanban, Kafka and/or RabbitMQ, SQL with relational databases, BigQuery/Redshift, and dbt/Airflow.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and observability tools (Datadog/Grafana/Sentry).
  • Understanding of feature flags/A/B testing (e.g., GrowthBook) and server-side tagging (GTM-SS).
  • Experience with acquisition integrations such as Segment, Mixpanel, MMPs (e.g., Appsflyer), Branch/Deep Links, Google/Facebook/Apple Ads.
  • Proven ability to impact business metrics (CVR, CAC/CPA, ROAS, decision time) by delivering robust solutions on time.
  • Strong data and performance skills: SQL, pipelines, event quality, conversion monitoring, Core Web Vitals/latency.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (Marketing/Growth, Data, Product, Risk/Compliance).
  • Experience with testing, CI/CD, security, and observability in production; familiarity with cloud services (GCP/AWS) and Kubernetes.
  • Adaptability to handle different scenarios and challenges in a dynamic environment.
  • Focus on results with the ability to prioritize impactful tasks.
  • Autonomy and collaboration skills to work productively in a remote model.
