Description:

  • Join the Wikimedia Foundation as a full stack Senior Software Engineer contractor for a 3-month full-time role in the App Growth team.
  • Focus on web-first product experiences, APIs, and platform integrations to enhance reader engagement and user retention across mobile web and native app surfaces.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5-10+ years of experience in building production web applications and services.
  • Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js), and backend languages (e.g., PHP).
  • Experience in responsive or mobile-first web development, server-side API design, and self-driven environments.
