Description:

  • Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs in modernizing eligibility and enrollment systems for Veterans and their families.
  • Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise Java applications, and collaborating on modernization initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–8 years of software development experience, strong Java and Spring Framework skills, and experience with REST APIs and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and strong troubleshooting skills.
