Remote Senior Software Engineer (Go)

Description:

• Join Megaport as a Senior Software Engineer (Go) to enhance the internal developer experience within the Platform Engineering team.
• Design, develop, and maintain tools and APIs that support engineering operations, focusing on Go-based backend services and CLI tooling.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer using Go.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes, RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in database management and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver high-quality code.
• Experience managing infrastructure on AWS and using GitHub.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for building internal developer-facing tools or CLI applications.
