Description:

  • Join Kunai as a Senior Software Engineer to support a digital payments modernization program for a major U.S. financial institution.
  • Contribute to the reliability of payment systems and shape future architecture at the intersection of legacy and modern infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in Java.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and experience with Spring Boot/JPA, Kafka, and containerized environments (OpenShift/Kubernetes).
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks (Next.js/React/TypeScript) and OAuth2/OIDC identity flows.
  • Background in digital payments or financial services technology preferred.
