Remote Senior Software Engineer - .NET

Description:

• A Senior Software Engineer for .Net at Creative Chaos is responsible for developing server applications across various software platforms.
• This includes writing Restful APIs to be consumed by client applications.
• The engineer ensures that the functionality, security, and performance of the server application meet design specifications and are free of bugs.
• Senior engineers are tasked with mentoring junior team members and enhancing team strength through training.
• Duties include analyzing business requirements, estimating tasks, writing code and unit tests, and collaborating with team members.
• The role also involves tuning code for security and performance, maintaining systems, updating issue tracking software, and providing status updates.
• Communication with clients, controlling code versions, researching new technologies, and leading a team of software engineers are also key responsibilities.
• Mentoring team members, upgrading skills, and evaluating candidates for open positions are additional duties.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field is required.
• Candidates must have 3-7 years of related experience in the professional industry.
• Strong communication skills are essential for this position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, tools, and platforms is required.
• Extensive experience with .Net Core, ASP.Net MVC, and Web API is necessary.
• Knowledge and experience with Azure and AWS are mandatory.
• Candidates should have experience in writing backend components and Restful APIs.
• An understanding of security standards and compliance is required.
• Experience with various relational and schemaless databases such as Oracle/SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB is necessary.
• Candidates must be able to create database structures for required functionalities.
• Experience in writing unit tests with a minimum of 90% test coverage is required.
• Knowledge of and experience with GitHub, JIRA, and other collaboration tools is necessary.
• A solid understanding of fundamental concepts and design principles is required.
• A basic understanding of front-end technologies is preferred.
