Description:

Reedsy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work remotely from anywhere in Europe.
The role involves working on the book editing tool, collaborating closely with designers and engineers to design, build, and ship new features from scratch.
Responsibilities include extending the feature set of a collaborative word processor, crafting beautiful book templates for e-readers and print, and architecting highly scalable web applications.
The engineer will evaluate and improve the performance, durability, and security of applications in production.
The position requires taking ownership of tasks and seeing features through from start to finish, as well as helping teammates improve through work reviews and accepting feedback.

Requirements:

Candidates must have professional experience with NodeJS, VueJS, TypeScript, and NoSQL databases such as Redis and MongoDB.
A good understanding of modern HTML and CSS is required.
A strong test-driven approach to development is essential.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
Candidates should enjoy working remotely.
