Description:

Own the long-term evolution of the TimescaleDB toolkit, balancing customer needs, technical excellence, and product strategy.
Define and prioritize the toolkit’s roadmap by identifying emerging customer needs across various applications.
Partner with Product, Sales, and customers to translate insights into intuitive developer experiences.
Improve reliability, testing, documentation, performance, and maintainability of new capabilities.
Maintain a balance between shipping new functionality and improving long-term code quality.

Requirements:

At least 2+ years of experience with Rust.
Strong software engineering fundamentals and contributions to Open Source projects.
Experience building SDKs, client libraries, developer tooling, APIs, or platforms.
Basic knowledge of statistical functions and database fundamentals.
Enjoy working across product discovery and implementation.
Curiosity about customer software usage to influence development.
Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed engineering organization.
