Description:

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks for backend services and UI.
Own and drive test strategy across services and features, ensuring thorough coverage aligned with product goals.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to advocate for testability and define quality standards.
Participate in architecture and design discussions to ensure testability and reliability are considered early.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback on code changes.
Conduct exploratory testing to identify usability issues and edge cases.
Manage multiple projects in a dynamic startup environment.

Requirements:

7+ years in QA or software testing, with 2+ years at a senior or staff level.
Proficient in Go, Python, or JavaScript for building automation and tooling.
Experience using AI tools for QA workflows, with the ability to verify outputs.
Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive initiatives independently.
Proven ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Deep understanding of CI/CD systems and experience with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Familiarity with Kubernetes environments and distributed systems.
Strong analytical and debugging skills, especially for backend issues.
