Description:
Develop production-ready control software for electro-hydraulic drive systems in mobile work machines (e.g., wheel loaders, excavators).
Support local application teams and external partners during commissioning and optimization, validating platform functions in real environments.
Design and apply electronically controlled hydrostatic drive systems, ensuring scalability and reusability.
Adapt customer-specific software based on global platforms and define market-specific extensions.
Identify and analyze regional customer requirements, translating them into platform-compatible features.
Validate prototypes and provide feedback for continuous platform improvement.
Coordinate functional safety requirements, ensuring product compliance and software quality across projects.
Collaborate with software development, sales, and product management to ensure project success and adherence to engineering guidelines.
Requirements:
Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
Several years of experience in developing or optimizing drive systems for machines; familiarity with embedded systems tools (e.g., Simulink, INCA, CANalyzer).
Independent and reliable working style with strong team spirit and communication skills.
Enthusiasm for software solutions in mobile work machines and willingness to take responsibility throughout the process.
Fluent or very good English language skills.
Mandatory availability for a 6-to-12-month training period in Germany.
