Remote Software Engineer - Core

Description:

• Join Olo as a Software Engineer on the ‘Core’ team, part of the ‘Order Engineering’ group.
• Contribute to key parts of Olo’s platform, including baskets, orders, checkout, and promotions, focusing on APIs and services for digital ordering experiences.
• Work remotely from anywhere within Northern Ireland, with a dedicated Engineering Manager based locally.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficient in C#/.Net and familiar with programming constructs and design patterns.
• Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and unit testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, Jest).
• Familiarity with distributed systems and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
