Description:

Core engineering role focused on building and optimizing distributed systems for a high-scale data syncing engine.
Own projects end-to-end, collaborate with customers, and shape multi-cloud, multi-region infrastructure for a global customer base in the martech/CDP space.

Requirements:

6+ years of experience as a backend engineer in building and scaling distributed systems (not data engineering or DevOps).
Experience in high-growth startups through significant scaling stages.
Proven track record of owning systems through multiple orders-of-magnitude growth.
Deep expertise in systems design fundamentals and large-scale distributed systems behavior.
Hands-on experience with Kafka, SQL databases, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Experience building data sync engines processing terabytes of data per day.
Familiarity with infrastructure tools like Spark, Flink, and Kafka.
Strong computer science fundamentals and excellent communication skills.
Consistent tenure with a track record of sustained impact at each employer.
