Remote Software Engineer: Frontend

Description:

• Whippy is a leader in AI-powered business communication, transforming how companies engage with customers using intelligent AI Agents.
• As a Frontend Engineer at Whippy, you will craft intuitive interfaces for user interaction with communication paradigms.
• You will write Engineering Requirement Documents to guide projects from idea to implementation and evaluation.
• Your responsibilities include building unit and end-to-end test suites to maintain product performance and reliability, as well as integrating product analytics to measure feature success.
• Previous frontend engineers have developed a React Native mobile app, a SQL-style data filtering GUI, a spreadsheet-style data grid for marketing analytics, and a design system using Radix UI and Stitches.

Requirements:

• A strong understanding of frontend architecture is required to build interactive systems for data fetching, mutation, and rendering.
• You should have a desire to be involved in the entire project development process, from research and planning to implementation and monitoring.
• Great written and verbal communication skills are necessary for expressing ideas, designs, and solutions in a mostly asynchronous manner.
• Fluency in written English is a requirement, and while spoken English fluency is a plus, confidence in written English is essential.
• You must be able to commit to a two-week full-time or four-week part-time paid work trial for mutual assessment.
