Description:

• Affirm is seeking a Software Engineer II for the Machine Learning Feature Platform team to build a self-serve platform for developing and serving data for machine learning.
• The role involves working on feature creation, data storage, and offline backfilling infrastructure, impacting end users like MLEs and Analysts.

Requirements:

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Proficient in Python or Kotlin, with experience in designing and launching backend systems.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and technologies such as AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to write clear, well-tested, and extensible code, and navigate large codebases.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with a global team.
