Description:

Seeking a Software Engineer – Integrations & Interfaces to design, build, and maintain data interfaces with partner systems in healthcare.
Focus on HL7, FHIR, and modern API integrations for seamless communication between Surgimate’s platform and external systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
4–6 years of experience in software development and system integrations.
Proficiency in a modern programming language/framework (e.g., Angular, Ruby on Rails, Python, PHP, NodeJS, Java).
Experience with HL7 interface development and FHIR APIs.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design, JSON/XML data structures, and database querying (SQL/NoSQL).
Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote-first environment.
