Description:

Join Tailscale as a full-time Software Engineer in the Dataplane Engineering Team.
Contribute to core client connectivity features and enhance Tailscale's offerings with a focus on network engineering and software development.
Provide architectural insights and resolve complex customer network issues.
Collaborate with product management and engineering to develop scalable network solutions.

Requirements:

Significant experience with networking software and diagnosing networking issues.
Comprehensive understanding of networking engineering (routing, VPNs, IP management, NAT traversal).
Proficiency in Go or low-level languages (C/C++, Rust) with knowledge of concurrent programming.
Experience with large-scale distributed systems and low-level OS network stacks is desirable.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a dynamic startup environment.
