Description:

  • Atria is a membership-based preventive health care practice delivering primary and specialty care in various locations and through telemedicine globally.
  • The company is seeking a Software Engineer (Product) to design, build, and scale systems that enhance member and clinical experiences.
  • This role is an individual contributor position focused on building high-quality product features across web, mobile, and backend stacks.
  • Responsibilities include owning projects from design to launch, collaborating with Product, Design, and Clinical teams to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • The tech stack includes TypeScript, Node, Express, React, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, MySQL, and various tooling and integrations.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have approximately 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in production environments.
  • A proven track record of owning and shipping features or projects in a modern web stack is required.
  • Experience collaborating closely with product and design teams on user-facing features is essential.
  • Strong full-stack skills are necessary, including API design, backend logic implementation, and UI development.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework, ideally React, is required.
  • Experience with cloud providers and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform is needed.
  • Candidates should have solid instincts for systems design basics, including reliability, performance, and security.
  • Comfort in debugging across the stack using logs, traces, metrics, and data is important.
  • Candidates should demonstrate ownership of their work, clear communication skills, and the ability to work with non-technical partners.
  • Openness to feedback and a commitment to team improvement are essential traits.
  • Experience in healthcare or regulated domains, as well as exposure to EHRs or health data platforms, is a plus.
