Remote Sr. Database Administrator

Description:

• Design, manage, and maintain the primary MySQL database with millions of records.
• Monitor performance and capacity, providing recommendations to prevent outages.
• Collaborate with software engineers on database design patterns and best practices.
• Create and maintain database documentation, including diagrams and standards.
• Utilize AWS tools for backups, security, compliance, and disaster recovery.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience as a MySQL DBA with hands-on support of production systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
