Description:

• The company offers processor-agnostic tokenization solutions through secure universal token vaults, iframes, mobile SDKs, tokenization proxies, APIs, and data orchestration tooling.
• The Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Payments services, as well as enhancing Card Attributes, Webhooks, and Event Pipeline.
• The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize high-throughput, fault-tolerant services within the VGS platform.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have deep hands-on expertise (6+ years) in Java and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security) for building high-scale, production-ready microservices in a SaaS environment.
• Strong practical experience with Kafka (MSK) or other message brokers is required for building event-driven architectures and managing high-volume data streams.
• A solid understanding and hands-on experience with cloud-native architecture, microservices, CI/CD (CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Argo), GitOps, APIs, API Gateway, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Python, and AWS services is necessary.
• Candidates should have strong experience implementing Observability solutions (metrics, logging, tracing) using tools like Open Telemetry, Grafana, and Prometheus to diagnose and resolve production issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with the payment processing ecosystem (PCI DSS, tokenization, card networks, processors) is a bonus.
