Description:

• Join Machinify as a Staff/Senior Backend Engineer to work on Pay and Audit product teams in a leading healthcare intelligence company.
• Set technical direction for backend development, design and build scalable web application systems, and collaborate with AI coding agents.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of backend programming experience; full-stack experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Java or Scala; Rust experience is highly desired.
• Experience in designing and operating distributed systems on cloud services.
• Ability to write Technical Design Documents and connect technical decisions to user outcomes.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and a product-driven mindset.
• Experience with agentic engineering tools and workflows in production settings.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
