  • The Staff Backend Engineer will lead the technical direction of Trust, Controls & Safety systems, ensuring platform integrity and security for critical workflows.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in high-scale, mission-critical backend systems.
  • Expertise in distributed systems, concurrency, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with financial systems where code correctness impacts finances (metering, ledgers).
  • Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL data models, and experience with policy-driven systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to drive technical leadership without formal authority.
