Remote Staff Data Engineer

Description:

• Own Moxie's data infrastructure including pipelines, warehouse, and modeling layer.
• Partner with Engineering and Finance to ensure data integrity and availability for internal teams and practices.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of data engineering experience, with a focus on building critical systems.
• Proficient in dbt, SQL modeling, and financial concepts like cash vs. accrual accounting.
• Strong Python skills and experience with orchestration tools (Prefect, Airflow).
• Proven track record of leading end-to-end delivery and gathering requirements from non-technical partners.
• Ownership mindset regarding uptime, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in data stacks.
• A proactive approach to data team contributions, focusing on business outcomes.
