Remote Staff Engineer

Description:

• The company is a Digital Product Engineering company that builds products, services, and experiences across all devices and digital mediums.
• They are looking for a Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience.
• The role requires expertise in Snowflake, SQL Server, Python (Strong), and SQL (Strong).
• The position involves designing and implementing complex data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integrations.
• The Data Engineer will work directly with developers in an embedded DBA/DBM role.
• Proficiency in Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices for performance optimization is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data engineering challenges are required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
• 2+ years commercial experience with MSSQL.
• 1+ years commercial experience with a major cloud provider, preferably AWS.
• Experience in designing and implementing complex data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integrations.
• In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices for performance optimization.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages for data manipulation and transformation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data engineering challenges.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Data engineering certifications are a plus.
