Description:

  • HighLevel is an AI-powered business operating system supporting agencies, entrepreneurs, and SMBs globally.
  • The Staff Frontend Engineer - Commerce will own the frontend architecture for Commerce, ensuring performance, accessibility, and quality.
  • This role involves collaboration with the central frontend platform team and requires leading design, code reviews, and team growth.

Requirements:

  • 9+ years of experience in building frontend systems.
  • Experience in building commerce surfaces at scale (storefronts, checkout).
  • Proven ability to lead a design system and manage breaking changes.
  • Proficiency in ConnectRPC, gRPC-Web, or protocol buffers.
  • Ability to read and write Go for backend-for-frontend tasks.
  • Experience contributing to open source or frontend community discussions.
  • Ability to teach backend engineers frontend best practices.
  • Experience with shared frontend platforms or design systems.
