Description:

  • Join Andela as a Staff Full-Stack Engineer to architect and evolve the Ruby on Rails ecosystem powering a global remote economy.
  • Lead the technical evolution of the platform, focusing on matching logic, global payments, and automated vetting.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in Ruby on Rails.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Ruby and Rails conventions, strong experience with modern JavaScript (React preferred), and deep understanding of PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Familiarity with deploying Rails apps on AWS, Heroku, or GCP, using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exceptional English communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
