Description:

Provide technical leadership for Gemini’s internal engineering platform, focusing on software and infrastructure.
Build self-service systems, developer tools, and automation to enhance service creation, deployment, and operation.
Shape platform strategy across cloud, networking, compute, storage, and CI/CD.
Collaborate with engineering, security, data, and product leaders to develop reliable platform products.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, or SRE with ownership of production systems.
Proficient in at least one programming language (Go, Python, TypeScript, etc.) and experience with maintainable services and automation.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
Knowledge of CI/CD systems, observability, and high-availability architectures.
