Description:

  • UpGuard is seeking a Staff Product Security Engineer to lead product security initiatives as the first dedicated hire in this role.
  • The engineer will define security standards, tooling, and practices to protect UpGuard's products and infrastructure, working across product and production environments.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in security engineering, software engineering, or security operations, with a focus on cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security (GCP preferred), Kubernetes, IAM, web application vulnerabilities, and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like Terraform.
