8+ years in software or security engineering with expertise in application security, cloud/infra security, and detection and response.
Proven experience in threat modeling and securing systems handling payments or sensitive data.
Strong engineering fundamentals, including AWS security and modern authentication patterns.
Familiarity with frameworks like PCI DSS, ISO 27001, OWASP, and SOC 2, with the ability to operationalize them effectively.
Ability to make risk tradeoff judgments and communicate clearly with engineers and leadership.
