Description:

Join Deputy as a Staff Software Engineer on the AI Scheduling team to shape workforce scheduling using AI and automation.
Lead technical initiatives, tackle complex backend problems, and build reliable, scalable services to enhance customer experiences.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
6+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years as a senior engineer.
Expertise in API design (REST & RPC) and frameworks like protobuf, gRPC, OpenAPI.
Experience with service-oriented architecture, microservices, and tools like Docker, ECS, Lambda.
Proficiency in persistence mechanisms (MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB) and familiarity with Elasticsearch.
Mastery of PHP or Go is highly advantageous.
Proven leadership in mentoring and guiding technical teams, with strong problem-solving skills.
