Description:

Remote Staff Software Engineer position on the Guides & Surveys team in Bogotá, Colombia.
Responsible for developing and maintaining back-end services that store user progress, guides, and survey data.
Engage in full system ownership, from infrastructure to JavaScript on customer sites.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to clarify project requirements and deliver designs.
Participate in on-call rotation and mentor other engineers.

Requirements:

Experience designing, building, and operating complex back-end systems, preferably in PHP or Go.
Proficient in writing technical design documents and leading architectural decisions.
Experience with front-end development in JavaScript, ideally with React.
Fluent in English for collaboration with US-based teams.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Nice to have: experience with legacy service migration, in-app guidance, or real-time client-side experiences.
