Description:

Seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain production-grade backend systems.
Focus on Java and Spring Boot development, scalable microservices, RESTful APIs, and AI-enabled product experiences.

Requirements:

5+ years of backend engineering experience with production-grade systems.
Expert proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
Strong experience with Gradle, microservices, RESTful API design, and relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
Experience designing distributed systems, building fault-tolerant services, and backend performance tuning.
Familiarity with AI-driven requirements and integrating LLM-based workflows.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Remote contract opportunity for candidates in LATAM (excluding Mexico).
Full-time engagement (approximately 40 hours/week) aligned with U.S. EST/CST business hours.
