Remote Senior Software Engineer – Backend & AWS Integrations

Description:

• Seeking a Senior Software Engineer with backend and AWS experience to build a payroll giving platform.
• Focus on designing and implementing APIs for payroll integrations and financial management.
• Collaborate with a small team, taking ownership of components and contributing to architectural decisions.

Requirements:

• Senior-level experience in backend services and API development.
• Strong AWS experience, including AWS Lambda and Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK).
• Proficient in integrating third-party APIs and connecting external services.
• Knowledge of Python and/or TypeScript; flexibility on backend language.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools for coding and testing.
• Strong English communication skills (C1 level).
• Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity.
• Familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework in production systems.
