Description:

Hiring a Backend Software Engineer to build and maintain scalable backend services for high-volume product experiences.
Hands-on contract role requiring independence and collaboration with product, design, platform, and engineering teams.

Requirements:

3+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
Proficient in Java and/or Kotlin, with production experience in Spring Boot and Spring Batch or equivalent frameworks.
Strong fundamentals in REST API design and implementation, and hands-on experience with GraphQL APIs.
Familiarity with LLM-based coding assistants and ability to validate AI-generated code.
Solid understanding of relational/NoSQL data stores and async messaging technologies like Kafka.
Ability to work independently on moderately complex engineering problems.

Remote contract role with flexibility for candidates in LATAM and APAC.
Engagement expected to last through March 31, 2027, with a commitment of 40 hours per week.
