Description:

Build and maintain backend services and APIs for stock trading and portfolio features.
Deliver features from technical design to production, ensuring quality with tests, monitoring, and alerting.
Handle financial processes accurately with safe retries and clear audit trails.
Integrate with internal systems and external parties such as exchanges and banks.
Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
Investigate production issues and implement lasting fixes.
Improve performance and reliability, especially during peak trading times.
Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Compliance teams to develop reliable solutions.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Experience: 4+ years of professional backend engineering, including production services.
Languages: Strong proficiency in Java, Go, or another modern backend language.
System Design: Understanding of microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, and event-driven design.
Data & Messaging: Experience with relational databases, caching (Redis), and messaging (Kafka).
Infrastructure: Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP or AWS), containers, and CI/CD.
Mindset & Domain: Ownership mindset, clear communication, and experience in capital markets or regulated environments is a plus.
