Description:

Own shared backend services that support all Ajaib products, including identity, notifications, and API gateways.
Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure backend services and APIs.
Lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and ensure service reliability and security.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5+ years of professional backend engineering experience with production services.
Proficient in Java, Go, or another modern backend language.
Strong understanding of microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, and reliability practices.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, caching (Redis), and messaging (Kafka).
Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP or AWS) and CI/CD practices.
Ownership mindset and clear communication skills; fintech experience is a plus.
