Description:

Architect systems spanning multiple teams to minimize future change costs.
Drive convergence of shared services and reduce service drift.
Set code quality, testing, and review standards for teams.
Lead investigations and mentor others in systematic debugging.
Own observability for the domain and promote a culture of stability and performance.
Conduct secure design reviews and apply security strategies across teams.
Partner with fraud and risk stakeholders to build controls in the payment domain.
Ensure epics and cross-team dependencies are manageable and resolvable.
Mentor and facilitate cross-team decisions, contributing to org-level engineering strategy.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in building and operating production software with a focus on architecture.
Deep experience in at least one of DZ's stacks (TypeScript, Go, C#) and solid knowledge of Postgres and AWS.
Proven track record of consolidating services and setting adopted standards.
Strong understanding of security practices, including OWASP fluency.
Ability to influence without authority and foster healthy team dynamics.
Good judgment regarding cost, value, and AI leverage.
