Description:

  • Shakepay is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to work on product and platform systems impacting millions of users.
  • The role involves collaborating with Product, Design, and engineering teams to define problems, design solutions, and deliver them to production.

Requirements:

  • Strong product and customer judgment with proven ownership of features or systems in production.
  • Experience in backend development (Node.js, TypeScript), relational databases (Postgres), and operating production systems with observability.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and making trade-offs with incomplete information.
  • Active use of AI tools in development workflows.
