Description:

  • Lead the technical direction for Fool.com and Motley Fool Money, balancing product velocity and code health.
  • Engage in hands-on coding, code reviews, and mentoring while ensuring production reliability and incident response.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a tech lead or senior role.
  • Proficient in Python and Django; experience with Wagtail is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Next.js, AWS services, and modern observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Sentry).
  • Experience in mentoring engineers and integrating AI/LLM capabilities into applications.
