Remote [WCF] Senior Python Engineer

Description:

• Develop a proprietary data platform for a British insurance company focused on cyber insurance products.
• Design, build, and improve data capabilities to enhance competitive advantage in cyber data.

Requirements:

• Senior-level experience as a Software Engineer with strong Python skills.
• Practical experience in building data platforms and backend systems for large datasets.
• Strong understanding of data ingestion, transformation, and high-performance API development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server, and cloud infrastructure (Azure and AWS).
• Familiarity with Databricks or similar data engineering platforms.
• Comfortable in Linux-based environments and with Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong quality mindset with experience in CI/CD and automated testing.
• Good understanding of secure engineering practices and API standards.
• Fluent communication in English.
